The city of Houston has a good public transport network and getting around the city by car is easy. Houston is connected to other towns and cities by freeways and interstate roads such as the north to south I-45 and the east to west I-10.

Southern Pacific Station is the main railway station at Houston and trains leave from here to other cities across the region, while most destinations can also be reached by Greyhound bus.

Within Houston there are bus services and efficient train services linking different parts of the city. Houston is served by two airports, with George Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston being the main air hub and the airport is served by major international airlines. Domestic flights arrive and depart from William P Hobby Airport. Cars can be hired at both airports for the journey into the city.
